Currently, health systems in Africa are faced by an epidemiological transition, the scope of pharmacy practice has expanded and health technologies are becoming increasingly important. It is against this background that the symposium has been structured to focus on discussing, in detail, the integration of pharmacy practice in an era of specialization, technology and information, with the current epidemiological transition.
In order to foster maximum participation of the participants while covering all the topics, the education and scientific symposium will be characterized by sessions such as plenary sessions, parallel sessions, workshops, hackathons, professional development events, abstract and poster presentations, inter-university challenges, essay competitions, quizzes, public health awareness campaigns and innovation challenges.
Organized by the Makerere University Pharmacy Students Association(MUPSA) with a Reception Committee comprising various members.
All that is required of you is registration via this website after which details on how to make payments will be made available to you. You will then be on track to experience the Pearl of Africa!
